Anyone interested in a trip over for the cuttlefish say 18/19 July?

Dodge tide that weekend by the looks of things.

Shore dives look to be the go.

See it before the salinity kills it off.

The BHP Olympic Dam Environmental Impact study is out for comment at the moment. One of the requirements is a Desal plant right next to the Santos plant at Pt Lowly. This area is FULL of cuttlefish every year. The desal plant is to supply water to Olympic Dam some 280kms north of Whyalla.

Do you guys know if SDFSA is making a submission to the EIS ?

Whyalla cuttlefish dive was a great success. Strongly recommend if you havn't done it then get up there, truly memorable.
Nice sunny day adds to the experience especially if shooting stills or video.

Check out craigs photos on this site for some amazing images.

Yep, Craigs photos are again spectacular. He should enter some of them in some competitions, I think he would have a chance.
