I know it was wet, but I thought it was a pretty scrappy game. The Saints play too defensive, which makes it not all that exciting to watch. They are very good at shutting down the other team, which creates stoppages and slow footy. I thought it was a hard fought contest, but nowhere near the game of the century the media are making it out to be.
Fitting GF when the two top teams play off, but Geelong play a more exiting game, and it proved to be the winning formula. Carlton should win the flag next year. Anyone up for fujakfooty.com? Should have gone to half time 3 goals up. Live and learn I guess.
