Title: Just got my books! Post by: JD on November 13, 2009, 12:30:34 PM For anyone interested, I just got a copy of 'Oxygen Hackers Companion' which I am looking forward to reading. I just looked at the front cover, and it has in bold
"The Compleat (sic) & Unauthorised Sourcebook on the Handling and use of, Nitrox and Trimix, for Dive, Aviation and Emergency Use" This actually concerns me a little. I am trusting these guys to teach me all about oxygen, and they can't spell or use proper grammer? They Seem to Think That All Words in a Sentence Need to Have a Capital Letter, Unless it is a Linking Word Also. Strange. I also got the book "Improvised and Low Cost HP Gas Boosters" I should be well and truly occupied while visiting the library for a while now! Anyone want to buy a home made booster? JD Title: Re: Just got my books! Post by: Ian T on November 13, 2009, 04:35:57 PM JD,
Air Compressor, plastic bag, duct tape, transfill whip, Trimix supply cylinders = instant booster. Title: Re: Just got my books! Post by: JD on November 14, 2009, 08:49:01 AM Ian,
Before you put O2 through our compressor, can you please buy me out of my half and stay in Melbourne? I think I see the mushroom cloud from here! JD Title: Re: Just got my books! Post by: Ian T on November 15, 2009, 09:00:00 AM Nothing over 21%O2 has or will go through the compressor. There is no need for that risk given the low cost of O2 and having a few E's in the garage.
