I think my battery pack is shot  I think I have a helios 18watt?

can i buy them cheaper OS they are about $650 here I thinmk

Take it to Olympic batteries, get them to make you a new one. Cheap as Bro!

I will try charging it again and see what happens, hasnt been used for over 3yrs so it has probably shit itself

your kidding..I got mine he was ok had to chase him a bit though

there is a dive shop near me that has 2 lufer 40's with valves 399 each I wreckon I could get them for $350 each if I bought them both

so rang my new mate ST....told me to try Battery World in Collingwood as they had done some for him before.....$320 all up     will report when I have them

Where from, Halcyon? Battery world doesnt sound too bad, just make sure they use the right ma/h batteries, more the merrier!

well I gave him the battery pack...said he can make it to match using good Japanese cells.....we will see....might need to try it in the mount hmmmmmm

ok battery works fine but torch was cutting out when I touched the cord....sent to Halcyon Aust on a friday Richard Nicholes rang me Monday arvo to say that the cord had a fracture and was sending it to the states for repair, advised it should be back in a month.....if so fucking brilliant service.....sent a BC inflator hose to Tony Davis took three months and some nasty txting to get it sorted......never again Diverite express for me

Thanks rick but i really wasn't sure what was wrong with it, could have been a ballist problem...better to get the manufcturer to fix it sometimes


but when I get it back whos for a Kilsby' or shaft dive

got email from Halcyon Australia yesterday to say torch had arrived back $75 all up paid for it yesterday got it this morning

very good service I must say....torch is 5 years old so $75 for the frieght to US and back and syd to melb.......nice repair too


althoug I have this concern....it went to H headquarters with my name on it.....Hmmmmmmmanyone wanna plug it in for me???? ;D

It's very sad when you forget how to turn it on !  ::)

I think when/if you go diving again you need to ask in here for a forget-me-not list, that way the only thing you will have to remember is how to swim  ;D

Your buddy can even turn your torch on too  ;)
