I still have the boots on the tanks too! Yeah - I stuffed up. I busted a boot in my tank, and went and bought a new one from the dive shop. Should have just rummaged around a GUE diver's rubbish bin and saved me the cash. ![]() |

Well thanks for all the info. But I did find out from more helpful sources:
1. The track from william creek to Halligan bay is marginal at the moment and needs a real 4wd not just my play one. 2. There is water in the lake but it's only shallow in most of this part. 3. If I can get the car in, it's still about 2 km walk to water and about 15km before it gets more than shin deep and about 30 km to the lowest point in Australia before I can dive. 4. There is no chance of jumping on a boat because boating is not allowed on the lake at the moment due in part to a native title claim but more because bogans try to run outboards in 6 inches of water and then get stuck. In conclusion, stupid idea that's not going to happen. Now, on fujak of all places, why didn't someone tell me this earlier? Nonetheless, I'll enjoy the trip... |
