CDAA AGM 2009

Short report for those unable to make the trip.

Three presentations were made starting at 1pm and finishing approx 4.30pm

Casey McKinley on WKPP past achievments and future plans
Melbourne Professor on geological history of My Gambier kaast
Dry caver on expeditions to worlds deepest dry cave, 2klm

All presentations were really interesting and well presented.

Dinner at 7.30 then auction of 21W ?HID and another CM presentation more light hearted and quite funny

CL now proud owner of a brand new HALCYON HID personally signed by CM. Slowly moving him over to the dark side.

Auction had its funnier moments. Embarrassing to see CL fawning over the great man.

Can't understand why I always end up at the loudest by far table, must be a CL proximity thing.

Congratulations to RB on being returned as Site Director, well deserved.

Drinks and conversation till about midnight then things get a bit hazy.

I'm sure presentations will be described in more detail somewhere and apologies for not remembering names of other presenters

Visit to the Mt Gambier show before symposium was a lot of fun, very high class sideshow alley and watching the sheepdog trials gives "get on top " and  "get in behind" a whole new meaning.

I'm sure Bro can give us some more detail on the intricacies.

It really was a fun time, many comments were made on the lack of aggro and relaxed atmosphere.

Planned trip back through the Connawarra was made, but quite short due to a strange reluctance by some party members to actually do any tasting

I had a ball that weekend, especially hearing how many other people think you are a wanker and how glad there were all to hear  that you no longer dive!!!!!!

very predictable comments from you as per usual, plenty of abuse and insults (which is fine) but with little substance.... tell me...is that your misses there in the above pics, the one you cheat on all the time....or is this a new one who hasnt worked you out yet.

as for being a wanker..well perhaps at times we are all wankers, you see thats what's great about Australia we are free to be wankers when we want to be...but to be judged a wanker by some of the greatest wankers going around ....well I guess thats a badge of honour!!!!  but i'm glad that I am still important enough to talk about!
