Is it correct that to become a CDAA instructor that you must have completed an instructors course with an agency ie PADI SSI etc?
If so what is the logic?

I think its is that the cdaa dont teach teaching techniques, where as padi or ssi do

the expectation is that one already knows how to teach

same as the CDAA doesn't teach entry level scuba
