tell me does one not need to carry bailout with an RB80?.........
I like the lighting credits.......for carrying a torch.....any credits for finning lol

No such thing as bail out, as such, with RB80. If there is a problem with the loop then switch to OC backgas which is what you are breathing on the loop anyway. Thanks Paul. Cheers

It has spent longer than 10 hours under 60m, unlike yourself Rickers, cos you would run out of air......BTW, they are GBP4500, which was about $10k when I bought it, much cheaper now.
Just wait until JJ says you can have one, then you will miraculously agree that they are a great thing, buy one, and start singing it's praises to anyone who is standing within earshot. Must be cool to be told what you can and cant use by the leader of the gang. Say Hi to Fonzie for me.
I can see your point though, none of the big projects here in Oz are being done on rebreathers, are they? Actually, now I think about it, I cant really name an OC project, Can you?
