Not now it's official it wont.

I know you can't please all of the people all of the time, but the detractors sure jumped in quickly! I honestly did not think Richard Taylor would be against this either. I find that odd.

There's no accounting for ****wits. The usual suspects bob up with no ****ing idea about anything their commenting on.
Purchase of Tank will be fantastic for the continued development of CDAA as a world class cave diving organisation.
Good to see JD & PH agreeing on something.  Grin Grin

Guess I'll have to check emails and see what all the fuss is about.

How long until they change the name to 'TCPP' (Tank Cave Plains Project) ? Anyone who is anyone in GUEland has to have a XXPP to their credit.

Lots of interesting banter on the list with actually some good comments (do I sound surprised?) & questions raised.

Hope once we do own it no-one shifts the rock-plug at the bottom & lets all the water out. Then we'd have to sell it to the ASF as a dry-caving site. Wonder how much they'll pay?

All this hoohaa about price - surely people realise we're not buying a bit of farmland but a piece of land that happens to have a hole on it that leads into a bloody big cave. Who actually owns the cave? Probably the SA Gov't. Wonder if there are any yet-to-be-discovered entrances?

I'll have to read it tonight then.

Will RD still have access to the water in the site ? Can he still drop his pump in there ?

There was a second now collapsed entrance many years ago IMHO.
