"I AM SUPERMAN!!!"
"No, I am superman"
"C'mon, you were superman last time, it's my turn!"
I now know why GUE divers have larger pockets on drysuits than anyone else, it's to keep all the cash you will need in!

There are. You can clearly see the '21' decals on the tanks. I dont use initials on my tanks. have my name written around the tank neck. I can quite easily identify which stage is mine. I didn't see any large MOD label on the cylinder I bought off you Harvs ! Just a postage stamp size yellow sticker. It has since been corrected

I'd love to see you firstly manage to get your sticky labels into the inside of your tank through the neck and secondly identify which tank is yours once you'd managed to do so. Seriously though, inside vs outside one may think that's only relevant to the position of the tank relative to your body whilst it's clipped on. I'd have thought you'd have id'd your tank before clipping it on rather than grabbing one, clipping it on, then checking the labels (on the inside of course) & hoping it is yours! Why would having labels on the outside confuse anyone if it's a stage clipped to you? would anyone else really care...? Questions questions questions...

I believe it best to have labels on both sides of the cylinder. To define which side, the valve should point to the diver, with decals on inside and outside. Both the diver needs to confirm the cylinder, as well as the buddy needs to check it, to verify they have selected the correct cylinder.
Not so much of a problem with one, though with 3 +, this procedure needs to be rock solid. The most dangerous thing we do as tech divers is switch gases underwater. The whole process, from cylinder selection, analysis, labelling, clipping on, and use underwater, needs to be meticulously performed. JD and I have had stuff ups swimming out to the dive, realising that the correct mixes were in the wrong cylinders.
Reliance upon which cylinder is used ( eg: my 5L cylinders only have O2, my 11Ls only have 50% etc) is prone to fail. Only way is to check it, and then use the buddy to check it.
It may seem onerous, though only takes a few seconds. I'd rather take a few seconds, and makes sure that both I and my buddy are breathing the correct gas.

Rich to the Right is a crock of horse poo. Good luck trying to deploy long hose with a deco cylinder on the right. All you're doing is adding drag to your configuration, and complexity to a simple system. Use a leash and clip them off behind you if you dont need them.
I've seen TDI trimix instructors have their O2 on the left and 50% on the right, simply through poor practises and drills, yet they were preaching Rich to the right.
So what about when you have a travel gas as well as 50% and 100% ? do they go from most righ (100) on the right, to 50% inside the travel gas (21 or less), with the leanest on the outside ? sheesh !
Even just for ONE DECO cylinder, if you clip a cylinder off on your right, with a conventional reg with RHS hose feed, the reg will be kinked going into your mouth and feel very uncomfortable. Clipped to the left, with reg hose behind head is COMFORTABLE way of routing the deco reg hose.... ahhhh..... (Excuse the use of four full stops, must be the influence of Mikchaz aka. S. MacG )
