Can you book myself and Harvs on?  Grin

JD

PS: I have booked into Tank for May 9-10 with RB as guide (BTW Rob, you are my buddy!) if you want to book on.
Shit, just looked at the list, Rob is obviously booked in with his best mate. I could be in trouble for a buddy. Wonder if Dave Hurst will dive with me?

Guys,

I've been advised that July 25 (Blacks), July 26 (1080) are air dive weekends only, with no trimix and no RBs. Deco gas is fine though.

Sorry Ian, when we spoke about Barnoolut I forgot to make you aware of the gas restrictions. After an initial look at the sites it seems to me to be a waste of time to not be able to dive mix on them. They are  a nice dive to 30-40m for a bit of a look around but the attraction would be the deeper and longer sections, especially Blacks.
Site access is fantastic, with Grant and Co having done a great job, but with the effort required to get in and out I would like to be able to maximise the dive opportunitys, for suitably certified divers.

I hope that maybe after the site access has been bedded down that some thought will be given to putting in place a workable set of guidlines to dive mix and rbs etc.

I am sure this would be on the agenda.

Rob,

JD and I are booked on for July 25/26. Looking forward to it.

RN, yes, I've dived 1080 on air a few times now, and it's still a fantastic dive on air. Deep blacks would be great fun, though for my first dives in there, a look around shallow is fine. I have been in touch via email w Grant and he's planning a Trimix weekend coming up. He just wants to make sure people know the dive site before diving mix in it.

IT.

No rebreathers may tip me out. It is also Cathy's birthday, which may cause some tension in the camp too.

Can someone ask why no rebreathers allowed? I can dive it on air you know.....
