Seems every frickin diver I speak to is planning on getting a ReVO RB. So boys, selling the Inspo's before Lombok ? Craig, you on the order list yet ?

Amazing to see such confidence in a unit, produced by a virtual unknown, that doesnt have CE certification, only about 200 units built (if that). Any casualities on one yet ?

You have to knock the handset to get it to do anything (it's called a rEvo Dream!), so no buttons, just bash it on a rock. Handy, unless you dont have a rock.......

It will be interesting to see Grant Pearse's unit in action. It looks like a very nice low profile unit, but once you option it up with shearwater controllers, it gets quite expensive. Base model is a MCCR I believe.

That there seems like a single point of failure with the ReVO then (bashing on a rock to do anything). Do you have to carry back up rocks in case you drop your primary rock ? What if you use limestone ? It will split underwater into two rocks.

Options ? cool. Can you fit a yellow spoiler too it ?

Why does he need a low profile unit ? he has a side mount breather already !

Leather interior, big 24" chrome wheels, doof doof stereo, it is the choice of CCR for the lebo's!

I think if you lose your primary rock you must call the dive, and revert to your backup rock, which should be worn on a necklace. It also brings what to do if your buddy loses his rock and you need to rock share. Which rock should your buddy go for in an OOR situation?
Also, are all rocks compatible with the system? What happens if you use a non approved rock, or one which is not trimix rated?

Side mounting of rebreathers is not good at all. Just watching them in the water looks appalling. Nothing is balanced.

my mail is Dave and Sandy have bought them, planning some big dives I believe for Eg Pearce Resurgence

it is my view that for them to buy them they must be a good unit (that doesn't mean I would by one) Ian name one aussie GUE diver who has acheived anything close to what they have

Anything you have to hit to get it to works sounds like a great piece of equipment, leaves the expectation level right up there with stone wheels and drum brakes Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Is CL going to start comparing women to 'uncovered meat' being left out soon ?

Actually, I walked past Hilali the other week at ADL airport.
