Forgot to add, there is now 'Tech 2+' which can be used to verify further experience beyond 75m.

No doubt this post will get PH responding about his 100m trimix cert, though the cert card is still in its plastic wrapping

IT, Changes have been made. T2 is 90m with an evaluation dive. T1 is 60m with 1 bottom stage

IT, Changes have been made. T2 is 90m with an evaluation dive. T1 is 60m with 1 bottom stage

Just read the procedure changes, for Tech 1+ and Tech 2+.

Tech 1+ requires 25 dives plus the evaluation dive w a Tech1 instructor. Tech 1+ uses the 1 bottom stage, and one deco gas (still 18/45, so up to 60m).

Tech 2+ requires 25 dives, no evaluation dive. 3 deco gases, and 12/65 bottom gas. 90m qual.

cool cool cool

RN,

You still need to verify your 25 dives, and get an evaluation by a T1 instructor before you can claim the 60m depth rating on your cert. Til that happens, you cant dive trimix in Shaft
