Got this on Email

" WE ARE MOVING!

Adelaide Scuba will be moving lock, stock & smoking barrel onto the GSDC premises on Patawalonga Frontage, Glenelg North on October 6, 2009.

The facility boasts state of the art lecture and training areas with a heated indoor dive pool and has fully surveyed dive vessels moored at the back door.

The retail area is very spacious and the primary brands of dive equipment that we will stock will be Oceanic, Scubapro and Halcyon. We will have a full service laboratory and will be able to mix Nitrox and Trimix gasses.

ALSO

Brand new hire equipment

 Ample car parking

Toilet and shower facilities

AND

HUGE potential for some serious parties!

We want you to feel very welcome when you visit us, even when we are busy, so there will be a cosy sofa where you can read or chat and grab a coffee. Or you can relax outside, overlooking ‘the Pat’ when the weather is nice!

…and the best bit…

our enthusiastic and friendly team will be moving with it and we are pumped!

Diving and dive training has never been easier or so convenient in South Australia."

Diver training has never been as easy... since the previous dive business was located in that shop....

Trimix ... in Adelaide Huh What's below 40m ?

My favourite is the 'full service laboratory'. So the service room is now a Laboratory ? Look out CSI and their little blue lights !

Yes it seems like Derek has found a tennant.

Funny stuff Ian. Grin  Anything below 30m requires Trimix does it not?

Good on Josh for being enthusiastic. I do not know his shop staff but I hope he does well, although hoping Jaimie did well did not do much for him so...... I cant wait for the trimix dives on the barge, 21/35 on the blocks and Seacliff reef. I will keep an eye out for the removal trucks travelling in convoy down Brighton Rd.

Not to point any fingers, but there was one diver who did a weekend in Tank on 10/50!

Trimix is a tool for diving when required. It's all about understanding the risks and considering them.

A dive many years ago on the Ulonga, 41m ? something like that. CL and BP overstayed WAYYY too long, racked up huge deco, ran out of gas, needed gas taken to them to finish deco. Think that would have been a good trimix dive perhaps.

Josh does like his car convoys ! Guess he is stuffed now with your well wishes !

the 10/50 was in a breather, so who cares

Read my post on the failure again Rick, I didn't bail out!

But yes, sufficient bail out for either yourself (as is certainly doable on the Ulonga) or a team strategy is a must.

My buddies were Swiss George and Will who both got low scores, however Simon was pretty angry with himself that he didnt see me go. There were quite a few people there though, and we all managed to look after ourselves.
