Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows where I could pick up the horizontal D-ring (not sure of the exact name of them) that goes onto the side of a Transpac harness to convert it for sidemount setups. (Preferably from a store in Oz if possible, as I'm not looking to pay a small fortune in freight from the US for 2 d-rings)  Smiley

I just bought 2 large standard D rings and bent them in a vice. Buy the longer ones, otherwise you end up with a smaller D (by long I mean the top and bottom of the typed D, if that makes any sense)

The clamps were herder to find, but I think Binks had them in the end- it was a long time ago however!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies.

Ken, unfortunately I'm not going to be at the mount this weekend - but thanks for the offer. Going to be a few months before I get the chance to setup the sidemounts, but just going through making sure I get the equipment prior too.

I know they used to be available on divegearexpress, but can't find them any more. Looks like a home made job might be the only option now.

Cheers again...
