Sock puppets are duplicate members. People sign up as themselves, but when they want to attack someone using the cloak of anonimity they sign up another user name. Multiple user names belonging to the same person for the purpose of stirring.
Even when the person signs up as another person, and the email address is hidden, we have access to it. As a valid email address must be used, we know who you are!
Multiple accounts will be deleted.
This is not a problem for people using the forum for good........If you want to say something and remain anonomous, its probably better off not said.

Further to JD's post - not only are all email addresses visible to us and logged so are the originating IP addresses of every user joining and every message posted.
Banning an IP range would prevent a user getting on even under a new username - they'd have to change ISP's...
