I was suprised as I thought you would buy the genuine article rather than a clone. I have seen Andrews, and as I said, with a bit of love and attention it would be a bloody good value for money unit. Harry is planning on sidemounting his which is pretty cool.
I like the idea of the X Link too, I would be pretty keen to have a look at yours once finished dt.

Maybe you can catch a lift with Harvs Jase? I am sure he will save you a seat!

well welcome dt  (dick tease???)

you never know what relationships form from fujack!! you should make a worthy fujaker!!!

I am very interested in the sartori, but I have a predator SA so not sure if it will be compatible as it cannot be connected to a unit!

would that be a turn up for the books  PH and JC dive buddies!!!!

so dt  what did it cost landed, when are you doing the training, looking forward to hearing what they are like to breath.

I bought it out of the blue as a thing to help me learn a little more about rebreathers. I just can't justify the cost of the RB80 at this stage as I don't really need one. I have twin 18's which I can do any dive with and about 10 stages.

I think in the next couple of years, the GUE lads will have something else anyway, so no point working up to something that may change. The RB80 is a good workhorse for those type of dives in the WKPP etc, but I'll never get to do those type of dives, so I may as well buy something cheaper and learn on that.

In time, no doubt, I'll go fully closed.  The JJ-CCR looks nice but I just don't know enough about RB's yet to buy one - oh an expensive one.

The X-Link has been discontinued, but I should be able to find one around somewhere.

I would catch a lift with Harvs but he has to go there first.  Lips sealed

PH, you are funny. DT is diving tactics of course, but you knew that.

Don't know about the Predator.

It cost me $2k landed, training with JDZ through IART and I don't know what it is like to breathe yet, I haven't got any kitty litter as it only arrived yesterday.

Halcyon have seriously lost it by the look of things, silliest thing I've seen for ages - especially the pink cammo on the wing.

Where do you find this shit Ph? Might be time for you to trade in the old transpac - c'mon, get into it - live a little.

Ian has traded in his female DUI for a mens model- gives him more room for his vagina.

Had a look at the Satori today. Apart from the BOV which is very poorly put together, and the hoses which are available from Hoover, the canister itself was quite nicely made. It could certainly be inproved upon with a little TLC, but overall not too bad. Pretty good value for $2K. AB said JC has bought one which I found interesting.

JD

I've ordered a Golem Shrimp for mine and will fit it with Cooper 22-inch hoses. Switchblock is pretty average also and I'm sourcing another one from europe.

All in all, it will end up costing around $3.5k plus a few hoses, a set of twins and another manifold isolator.

Found an X-Link hardwired, so will plumb that in to monitor the PPo2.

Nice looking BOV too, very neat indeed. I think this should be quite a nice unit once you have finished.

I've ordered a Cape Jaffa lobster and will fit it with Southwark 3-inch hoses.Snatchblock is just right but will order a spare snatch from Sweden.
At the end of the day, all things being equal, $13.50 plus a free JJ voucher will have the rig looking good.
Found a XXX link so am now hard         wired. Plumbing through Plumbtec with a 32inch monitor.
I already have a nice looking BOV.

Cheers RB dudes. Nerds.

Haven't used it yet, but John Currie seems to think it breathed fine stock standard.
